GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas announced the winter and spring Academic All-Conference teams presented by Barnes & Noble College on Monday with 54 Chowan student-athletes being recognized. The winter and spring Academic All-Conference teams consist of student-athletes in men's wrestling, men's and women's swimming, men's and women's indoor and outdoor track & field, men's and women's basketball, spirit, men's and women's golf, acrobatics & tumbling, men's volleyball, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's tennis, baseball and softball.

The Hawks were represented by 11 different teams, led by softball (14) and baseball (11). Men's lacrosse and men's basketball each had seven representatives, while women's basketball and men's golf added four apiece. Women's swimming had two, with cheer, men's swimming, men's tennis, and women's tennis each adding one.

CONFERENCE CAROLINAS WINTER/SPRING ACADEMIC ALL-CONFERENCE SELECTIONS

The Conference Carolinas Academic All-Conference teams consist of junior and senior student-athletes in the conference who have competed in a conference-sponsored sport and maintained a cumulative grade-point average of 3.25 or higher on a 4.0 scale in all work completed at their member institution.

The GPA is calculated based on the cumulative averages of the student-athletes through the previous semester and each student-athlete must have attended their member institution for at least one academic year.
