PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. - Chance Lassiter fired off a 69 in round two of the Barton College Spring Golf Clash at Caledonia Fish and Golf Club to lead the Hawks through two rounds. As a team, Chowan sits in a tie for 10th place after playing 36 holes on Monday.
Lassiter's 69 in round two puts him in good company as he becomes just the 12th Chowan golfer to record a sub-70 round in competition since the program's changeover to NCAA DII status (2009).
