PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. - The Chowan University men's golf team wrapped up play at the Barton College Spring Classic on Tuesday afternoon in 13th place out of 20 competing teams. Senior
Bjoern Holt carded a team-low round of 71 on Tuesday while
Chance Lassiter fired off a 73.
The Hawks wrapped up the three-round tournament at Caledonia Golf and Fish Club in 13th place at +49. USC-Aiken took home the top spot in the tournament, shooting a +17 over three rounds. Chowan shot a combined score of 889 (301, 290, 298) to finish up in the 13th spot.

INSIDE THE CARDS
Bjoern Holt marched back into the mix after shooting a round 1 80 on Monday morning. He cut 10 strokes off of his first round score to finish up with a 73 and a 76.
Chance Lassiter paced the Hawks, finishing in 20th place. He shot a three day total of 219 (77, 69, 73). Holt finished up in 46th place.
Mika Buchholtz finished in 46th place, staying consistent with a three round total of 225 (76, 73, 76).
Bryce Koehler fired off a 73, 75, and a 78 over three rounds to place 55th while
Adam Lankford posted rounds of 75, 74, and 85 to place 83rd.

The Hawks will take a week off of competition before teeing it up again March 8th-March 10th at the Lander University Classic in Greenwood, S.C. at Greenwood Country Club.
