GOLDSBORO, N.C. – The Chowan University men's golf team powered through round two of the Trojan Invitational at Lakeside Park Country Club on Tuesday afternoon.
The Hawks posted a team score of 286 in round two—the lowest of the day—bringing their two-round total to 594, just two strokes behind leader Livingstone (592).

INSIDE THE SCORE CARDS
Jacob King led the charge with a 71, tying for second place overall. He was closely followed by Jacob Kearney, who posted a 76, while Matthew Herberger and Tyler Darnell shot rounds of 70 and 74, respectively. Herberger finished tied for 5th, and Bjoern Holt secured 12th place.
The team's depth shone through as Bjoern Holt and Adam Lankford chipped in with scores of 72 and 79, and Mika Buchholtz maintained steady play with an 73. Justin Peterson rounded out the group with an 80, contributing to a collective effort that has set the stage for the remainder of the competition.
