SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Chowan University men's golf team kicked off competition at the Conference Carolinas Men's Golf Championship on Sunday at the Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
After completing the first round, the Hawks sit in 10th place with a team score of 309 (+21) heading into Monday's second round.

INSIDE THE SCORE CARDS
Senior Matthew Herberger led the way for the Hawks, currently sitting tied for 27th at the Conference Carolinas Championship after carding a solid 76 (+4). Tyler Darnell followed closely in 30th with a 77 (+5), while Bjoern Holt, Jacob King, and Mika Buchholtz each turned in rounds of 78 (+6).
