AHOSKIE, N.C. – The Chowan University men's golf teams finished up day one play at the Chowan Intercollegiate Golf Tournament on Monday afternoon at Beechwood Country Club in Ahoskie. Barton, Mount Olive, Fayetteville State, Livingstone, NC Wesleyan, and Elizabeth City State, and Chowan
The Hawks are fielding two teams in this two-day event. Day one consisted of two rounds, 36 holes of golf in total.
After day one, Chowan is in 5th place, while the Chowan B holds 6th place in the standings.

INSIDE THE SCORE CARDS
Jacob Kearney delivered a strong performance after carding a 73 (+1), securing 10th place in the field, while Mika Buchholtz followed closely with a solid 74 (+2) to sit in 14th. Jacob King and Bjoern Holt each carded rounds of 75 (+3), earning spots in 23rd and 35th, respectively. Matthew Herberger battled through the course, finishing with a 78 (+6) in 23rd place.
Parker Brooks led the charge for the Chowan B team with a solid round of 71 (-1), finishing in a tie for 10th place. Noah Stewart shot 76 (+4), while Tyler Darnell and Justin Peterson both posted 78 (+6), tying for 23rd. Adam Lankford finished with 79 (+7), and E.J. Proctor and Bryce Bennett carded scores of 82 (+10) and 83 (+11), respectively.

The Hawks will continue competition in the Chowan Intercollegiate on Tuesday, April 1st, at Beechwood Country Club in Ahoskie, N.C., for round three.
