PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. – The Chowan University men's golf team finished final day play at the Pawleys Island Beach Bash, hosted by Ohio Dominican, with a team score of +30, securing 7th place out of 15 competing teams.. #25 Wayne State took 1st place with a score of +10.

Chowan finished in 7th place with a total score of +30. After shooting +10 as a team on Wednesday, the Hawks fell three places from 4th to finish up in 7th place.
Mika Buchholtz finished in 16th place out of 101, posting a solid 75 (+3). Bjoern Holt also finished with a 75 (+3), shaving eight strokes off his round one finish of 83. Matthew Herberger and Tyler Darnell each posted rounds of 79 (+7) on day two. Herberger finished up in 15th place overall in the two-day tournament after shooting 72-79. Darnell finished up in a tie for 25th place overall. Jacob King scored 83 (+11), and Adam Lankford finished with 84 (+12).
