PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. - The Chowan University men's golf team finished up final round play at the Barton College Bulldog Spring Clash on Tuesday afternoon. The Hawks wrapped up in 16th place while #17 Wingate took home the top spot after shooting -15 under par (70).Â
INSIDE THE SCORECARDSÂ
Chowan was paced by Mika Buchholtz who fired a final round of 72 to lead the Hawks. He fired off rounds of 74, 70, and 72 to finish up four over par in the three-day clash.Â
Jacob King carded four birdies in the final round of play on Tuesday to card a 73. His birdie totals moved him up three spots in the overall individual finishes. King shaved 10 strokes off his second round of 83 with Tuesday's 73. He opened the tournament with a 74. Overall he carded eight birdies in the three-day tournament.Â
Bjoern Holt fired off a 78, 73, and a 74 through three rounds of play. Matthew Herberger carded 76-70-76 over three rounds while Tyler Darnell finished up three rounds of play with scores of 76, 78, and 74. Darnell accounted for six birdies over three rounds.Â
Playing individually for the Hawks, Jacob Kearney shot a 73 in round one followed by a 90 and an 81 while Adam Lankford shot an 77 on day one, followed by an 81 and a final round of 84.Â

Chowan will travel to Winston-Salem, North Carolina for a two-round match at the WSSU Invitational over March 3rd-4th.
