MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Hawks baseball team opened Conference Carolinas play at Young Harris on Sunday afternoon, dropping the first two games of the series.

In game one, the Hawks recorded four hits, with Caden Rector, Elvis Rumaldo, Ryan Bellamy, and Christopher Rumaldo each contributing one. Rector drove in two RBIs, while Christopher Rumaldo added an RBI and a stolen base for the Hawks.

In game two, Noah Simpson led the Hawks with two hits, while Geomar Santana added another. Caleb Karie reached base twice with walks.
