Conference Carolinas Names Nine Hawks to Football All-Conference List

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas has released its 2025 football all-conference honors as chosen by the league's head coaches, with Chowan placing nine student-athletes on the offensive and defensive all-conference lists. Antwone Godley earned Defensive First Team honors, while Darryl Harris, Isaiah Fulton, Malachi Howell, and Jamall Browning were named to the Defensive Second Team. On offense, Jakobe Lane, Malique Frazier, Dezmond Randolph, and Jack Beylo secured spots on the Offensive Second Team.

Antwone Godley made major plays for the Hawks throughout the season. On special teams, he totaled seven kickoff returns for 232 yards, including a game-winning 82-yard touchdown against Erskine that earned him Conference Carolinas Special Teams Player of the Week. Defensively, he closed the season with a standout performance against Barton, recording five tackles and two interceptions for 22 return yards, which secured him Defensive Player of the Week recognition.

Darryl Harris anchored the defense with 70 tackles, including 37 solo stops, and added 5.5 tackles for loss. He was also a strong presence in pass coverage, recording four interceptions for 23 yards and breaking up two additional passes. Harris delivered one of his best performances against Shorter with a season-high 13 tackles and a quarterback hurry, and added another hurry in the matchup with Ferrum.

Isaiah Fulton was another consistent force, finishing the season with 52 tackles, including 38 solo, along with 2.5 tackles for loss. He contributed five pass breakups and two interceptions for 72 yards, highlighted by a 55-yard interception return at Erskine. Fulton also recorded six tackles against West Alabama, showcasing his playmaking ability in both run support and pass coverage.

Malachi Howell proved to be a disruptive presence at the line of scrimmage, totaling 36 tackles with 17 solo stops, 5.0 tackles for loss, and 1.0 sack. He also added three quarterback hurries and a fumble recovery. Howell posted several key performances, including six tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss against North Greenville and three tackles with two tackles for loss at Erskine.

Jamall Browning added 32 tackles on the season, including 18 solo stops, while contributing 2.5 tackles for loss, 1.0 sack, and three quarterback hurries. He also recovered a fumble for 31 yards, providing momentum-shifting plays for the Hawks. Browning had standout efforts with eight tackles and a tackle for loss at Shorter and six tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and a sack against Ferrum.

Offensively, Jakobe Lane led the receiving unit with 32 catches for 398 yards and three touchdowns. He delivered explosive moments throughout the year, including 117 yards and a 40-yard touchdown against West Alabama and another score versus Shorter. Lane averaged 12.4 yards per reception and added 212 kickoff return yards, highlighted by an 81-yard return. His 610 all-purpose yards played a key role in the Hawks' offensive production.

Malique Frazier provided consistent big-play capability, recording 20 receptions for 368 yards and a team-leading five receiving touchdowns. He averaged 18.4 yards per catch and posted a season-high 187 yards—including a 67-yard touchdown—at Shorter. Frazier closed the season strong with a two-touchdown performance against Ferrum and another scoring catch at Erskine.

Dezmond Randolph contributed 18 receptions for 246 yards, averaging 13.7 yards per catch. He produced multiple explosive plays throughout the season, including a season-long 42-yard reception against No. 3 West Florida and a six-catch, 68-yard performance against Ferrum. His steady production added depth to Chowan's receiving corps.

Kicker Jack Beylo turned in one of the strongest special teams seasons in the conference. He finished 10-of-14 on field goals with a season-long 40-yarder and went 23-for-27 on PATs. Beylo delivered several standout performances, including a 3-for-3 outing against Ferrum and a perfect 2-for-2 showing at Barton. He also handled kickoff duties, recording 43 kickoffs for 2,409 yards and producing 27 touchbacks. His efforts earned him Conference Carolinas Special Teams Player of the Week honors in Weeks 2 and 10.
