GREENVILLE, S.C. – More than 5,000 student-athletes have been named to the fall of 2025 Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll presented by Southern Recognition LLC, with 250 of those recipients from Chowan University.
The Hawks were well represented on the 2025 Fall Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll, led by football with 55 honorees. Softball and baseball each placed 25 student-athletes on the list, followed by women's soccer with 21 and men's soccer and men's lacrosse with 19 apiece. Women's volleyball contributed 18 honorees, while men's basketball earned 13 selections and women's basketball added 11. Men's golf saw nine student-athletes recognized, with cheerleading totaling six honorees. Five student-athletes each were honored from women's swimming, women's flag football, and women's lacrosse, while women's tennis and men's swimming each recorded four. Men's tennis, men's cross country, and women's cross country rounded out the list with two honorees apiece.

The Presidential Honor Roll, compiled at the end of the fall and spring semesters, recognizes student-athletes who have earned a 3.20 grade-point average on a 4.00 scale.
A student-athlete that earned a GPA between 3.20-3.59 is recognized as cum laude, a student-athlete that earned a GPA between 3.60-3.99 is recognized as magna cum laude and a student-athlete that earned a GPA of 4.0 is recognized as summa cum laude.
All student-athletes - including underclassmen, transfers and those who play non-conference sponsored sports - are eligible for the recognition as long as they participated during the past semester.
