Blanchard and Harmon Represent Chowan Football on CSC Academic All-District Team

GREENVILLE, S.C. – College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its Football Academic All-District honorees on Tuesday, with 18 student-athletes from four Conference Carolinas institutions earning recognition. Graduate student Cru Blanchard and junior Dahleal Harmon represented Chowan Football on the Academic All-District Team.

Blanchard, a native of Napoleonville, Louisiana, appeared in all 11 games for the Hawks and served as a key anchor along the offensive line. He is pursuing a master's degree in Organizational Leadership and carries a perfect 4.0 grade-point average.

Harmon, a junior from Accomack, Virginia, has been a three-year member of the Chowan football program and competed in all 11 contests during the 2025 season as a defensive lineman. A Music Industry major, Harmon has maintained an impressive 3.95 GPA throughout his time at Chowan.

In total, four Conference Carolinas institutions were represented on the Academic All-District Team, with Barton College earning three selections, Chowan University two, Ferrum College eight, and UNC Pembroke five.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Football Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced Jan. 27, 2026.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
