MURFREESBORO, N.C. – Throughout the 2025-2026 Chowan Athletic season, the Chowan Athletic Department will feature the Ace Hardware Student-Athletes of the Week.
 
For the week of October 22 – October 29, Anna Holcombe of the volleyball team and Cameron Letterlough of the men's soccer team, have been recognized for their standout performances over the past week of competition.
 
Anna Holcombe | Sophomore | Volleyball | Outside Hitter | Wake Forest, North Carolina
Holcombe delivered a well-rounded performance in last week's matches against Belmont Abbey and Converse. On Friday night, she recorded nine kills, 15 digs, and three service aces, followed by another strong outing on Saturday where she led the team with eight kills, adding nine digs and a service ace.

Cameron Letterlough | Freshman | Men's Soccer | Forward | Asheboro, North Carolina
Letterlough continues to shine for the Chowan men's soccer team, recording two game-winning goals in the past week. He netted the decisive penalty kick in Saturday's 1-0 victory over North Greenville, before heading in the lone goal just two minutes into the second half against Ferrum on Wednesday to lift the Hawks to another win.
