CU Hawks Volleyball Places Four on CSC Academic All-District Team

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas had 37 women's volleyball student-athletes named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District when the organization announced their awards on Tuesday. Chowan University had four student-athletes featured on this year's team. Seniors Jadyn Brown and Diana Rodriguez and sophomores Anna Holcombe and Rosa Lynn Collier headlined the Academic All-District team for the Hawks. 

Jadyn Brown is a senior, Stafford, Virginia native, who appeared in 28 matches for the Hawks and led the team in service aces. The psychology major completed her degree requirements in December. 

Diana Rodriguez was this year's Conference Carolinas Defensive Player of the Year and also First Team All-Conference as a libero. The Exercise Science major will graduate in May of 2026 and recently became the program's all-time digs leader after breaking a nine-year old record in October. 

Rosa Lynn Collier is a sophomore Criminal Justice major from Goodyear, Arizona. The right side hitter tallied 172 season kills and 41 season blocks this year. 

Anna Holcombe wrapped up her sophomore season, leading the Hawks with 214 total kills. The all-around player is a biology major and also tallied 217 digs on the back line. 

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL ALL-DISTRICT SELECTIONS

In all, 10 Conference Carolinas institutions were recognized: Barton College, Belmont Abbey College, Chowan University, Converse University, Ferrum College, Francis Marion University, King University, University of Mount Olive, UNC Pembroke, and Southern Wesleyan University.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed at the links above.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced Jan. 13, 2026.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
