Four More All-Conference Swims For The Hawks On Day Three

KINGSPORT, TENN. – Four more All-Conference selections earned by the Chowan Men's and Women's Swimming program on the third day of the Conference Carolinas Swimming Championships on Friday.

WOMEN | Fifth (210.5)

INSIDE THE LANES

Finals:

100 Fly:

Ashley Mayes earned Third Team All-Conference honors with a time of 56.19.

200 Free:

Aislinn Kessinger finished eighth overall with a time of 2:00.34.  Lina Danna finished 11th with a time of 2:01.95.

Robert Liz Cabrera finished seventh overall with a time of 1:42.92.  Jose Medina posted the ninth fastest time in program history with a time of 1:47.57 to finish 12th overall.

100 Breast:

Aleksei Belolipetskii grabbed his second event Championship with a first-place finish with a time of 55.70.

Ethan Moxey finished with the ninth fastest time in program history with a time of 1:10.05.

Hiba Laknit finished fifth overall with a time of 1:06.85 (second fastest in program history).

100 Back:

Erica Mock finished fifth overall with a time of 1:00.09.

Senan Noonan improved his own school record in the event with a Second Team All-Conference performance with a time of 50.61.  Huascar Urbina finished with a time of 56.35, while Christian Oleaga finished with a time of 57.16.  Tyler Krom touched the wall at 1:02.13 to improve his personal best time.

400 Medley Relay:

The men earned a Second Team All-Conference performance with a time of 3:22.70.  Senan Noonan, Aleksei Belolipetskii, Dimitrije Markovic, and Robert Liz Cabrera earned the honors.

The women finished fifth overall with a time of 4:05.07 as Erica Mock, Hiba Laknit, Ashley Mayes, and Aislinn Kessinger swam for the Hawks.

Prelims:

100 Fly:

Ashley Mayes posted a time of 56.50 to qualify for the finals.

200 Free:

Aislinn Kessinger (1:59.38) along with Lina Danna (2:05.43) qualified for the finals.

Olivia Mock (2:39.06) and Elizabeth Waltz (2:39.77) swam for the Hawks.

Robert Liz Cabrera (1:44.01) and Jose Medina (1:49.61) qualified for the finals.  Medina and Brayden Conboy (2:11.62) posted career-best times.

100 Breast:

Hiba Laknit qualified for the finals with a career-best time of 1:07.65.

Aleksei Belolipetskii (56.72) and Ethan Moxey (1:11.60) qualified for the finals.  Moxey posted a career-best time.

100 Back:

Erica Mock qualified for the finals with a time of 1:00.79.

All four Hawks for the men qualified with Senan Noonan (51.74), Huascar Urbina (55.99), Christian Oleaga (56.82), and Tyler Krom (1:02.90) will swim for the men.

UP NEXT

The final day of the Conference Carolinas Swimming Championships concludes on Saturday, February 24 as the Hawks will participate in the 200 Back, 100 Free, 200 Breast, and 200 Fly.
