Box Score HICKORY, N.C. – The Chowan Baseball team was unable to muster the offense against one of the top teams in the region during their midweek contest against Lenoir-Rhyne on Tuesday afternoon.

Lenoir-Rhyne came into the contest ranked fifth in the NCBWA Southeast Region Poll.
Chowan garnered four hits in the contest with Elvis Rumaldo, Caleb Karie, Ryan Bellamy, and Nick Reiss collecting a hit each. Karie tallied a RBI.
Lenoir-Rhyne took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first before extending their lead to 5-0 in the second and 11-0 in the fourth. The Bears added four runs in the sixth and two more in the eighth.

Chowan returns home to open up Conference Carolinas action on Friday, February 23 as the Hawks host Southern Wesleyan in a three-game series. First pitch is slated for 1pm.
