MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced their Scholar-Athletes and All-Academic Team awards on Tuesday afternoon for the 2022-2023 season.

Eight Hawks were named to the Scholar-Athlete list along with the Women's program earning the All-Academic Team selection.

Santino Jose Sormani, Alvaro Juscamaita, Hesley Masara, and Anesu Kwirirai were selected for the Men's program while, Maria Estinvil, Manuela Jimenez, Valentina Domenicone, and Sreshta Puducheri were selected for the Women's program.  To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher for the current academic year.

The Women's program earned the All-Academic Team for the third time (19-20 and 21-22).  The program posted above a 3.2 GPA as a team.
