WILSON, N.C. – The Chowan Men's Golf team finished 10th at the Barton Intercollegiate on Tuesday afternoon at the Wilson CC.

INSIDE THE SCORECARDS

Ruben Gamez-Aranda roared back from an opening round 87 to finish with rounds of 77-76 to wrap up the tournament.  Gamez-Aranda tallied four birdies in each of the final two rounds.

Tyler Darnell finished tied with Gamez-Aranda after rounds of 82-80-78.  Darnell posted eight total birdies.  Mika Buchholtz led the Hawks with an opening round 76, before finishing 81-85.

Jaxon Eck tallied 78-82-84 in the tournament to round out the scoring.  Patrick Sullivan recorded rounds of 82-86-83, while Adam Lankford posted 88-82-85 as an individual.

Chowan travels to Goldsboro, N.C. to compete in the Trojan Invitational on March 27-28 in a 54-hole event.
