MURFREESBORO, N.C. – As the Chowan Football team hits the road for the first time this season, the Hawks will not have to wait until Saturday to take the field as Mother Nature has forced a change.

Chowan and Fayetteville State was originally scheduled to compete on Saturday, October 1 at 7pm in Fayetteville, N.C. but with Hurricane/Tropical Storm Ian approaching, the schools have decided to move the contest to Thursday, September 29 at 7pm.
