GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Conference Carolinas men's lacrosse Players of the Week for the week ending March 6 are Jackson Downs of Chowan and Brady Smith of Belmont Abbey.
 
Downs was selected as the Offensive Player of the Week, while Smith earned Defensive Player of the Week accolades.

A senior midfielder from Olney, Maryland, Downs led the Hawks to a 19-17 victory over Young Harris on Saturday, March 5. He scored five goals and dished out three assists with three ground balls and one caused turnover. 

Smith, a senior faceoff specialist from Mason, Ohio, won 15-of-18 faceoffs with nine ground balls and one caused turnover in  helping the Crusaders to a 14-6 win over Catawba on March 5.
