PEMBROKE, N.C. – The Chowan Baseball team was held to three hits in the contest as UNC Pembroke swept the series with an 18-0 victory in Conference Carolinas action on Sunday afternoon.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE
Noah Evington and Dallas Trevena registered the only hits in the contest for the Hawks. Evington picked up two hits, while Trevena added a hit.
Carrington Williams, Patrick Krack, and Ryan Bellamy reached base on walks.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Dallas Trevena opened the contest with a double down the left field line before a double play ended the rally.
In the second inning, Patrick Krack drew a walk and swiped second before being stranded at third.
Noah Evington doubled to open the fourth inning prior to moving to third on a balk with two outs.
Chowan put two runners on in the sixth as Noah Evington picked up a single to center and Carrington Williams drew a walk.
UNC Pembroke did most of their damage in the sixth inning scoring eight runs off two hits as the Braves stretched their lead to 16-0.

Chowan returns to Hawkins Field to host Southern Wesleyan in a three-game series on March 25-26. First pitch of the series is scheduled for 2pm.
