SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Chowan Men's and Women's Swimming teams wrapped up competition against Mars Hill and Converse on Saturday afternoon on the road.

THE RESULTS
400 Medley Relay:
Chowan would take the top spot in both relays as the men finished just off the school record pace with a time of 3:39.68. The women posted a time of 4:28.03.
1000 Free:
Briana Wilson finished third overall with a time of 12:13.67. Igor Proszynski posted a second place finish in the event with a time of 10:52.20.
200 Free:
Andrew Simmons and Marshall Stevens second and third respectively with times of 2:01.74 and 2:03.82. Atar Idrissi finished third with a time of 2:14.11 for the women.
50 Free:
David Clark touched the wall first with a time of 23.75, while teammate Christian Oleaga finished third with a time of 24.74.
Aislinn Kessinger posted a time of 26.16 to finish third overall. Arriel Quant posted a fifth place finish.
400 IM:
Andres Martijena posted the third fastest time in program history in the event with a second place finish after touching the wall at 4:36.63.
100 Fly:
Aleksei Belolipetskii finished first overall with the second fastest time in program history with a time of 52.46. David Clark finished second with a time of 1:00.09.
Ashley Mayes posted a first place finish in the event with a time of 1:01.64.
100 Free:
Jan Gastal broke the school record in the event with a time of 47.78 to finish second overall.
100 Back:
Andrew Simmons finished first with a time of 1:00.55 as Christian Oleaga placed second with a time of 1:05.80.
Hiba Laknit placed fourth overall in the event with a time of 1:11.20.
500 Free:
Briana Wilson finished with a third place finish to post a time of 6:00.15. Igor Proszynski touched the wall second with a time of 5:07.91.
100 Breast:
Hiba Laknit posted the seventh fastest time in program history in the event with a time of 1:12.71 to finish second overall. Arriel Quant touched the wall at 1:21.31.
Andres Martijena finished first overall with the second fastest time in program history with a time of 58.08. Marshall Stevens finished fourth with a time of 1:07.61.
400 Free Relay:
The men's team would finish first overall with a time of 3:20.30, while the women finished second with a time of 4:06.03.
