FUQUAY-VARINA, N.C. - Chowan quarterback Bryce Witt has been named BOXTOROW National Player of the Week.

Witt, a senior from Sutherland, Va., completed 22-of-33 passes for 405 yards with seven touchdowns and no interceptions in helping lead the Hawks to a 49-19 victory over Erskine. Witt also rushed for 20 yards.

This honor marks the second time in Witt's career that he was named BOXTOROW National Player of the Week.
