MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan Men's and Women's Swimming teams dropped a dual meet against Barton at home on Saturday afternoon.

THE RESULTS
200 Medley Relay:
Atar Idrissi, Zorey Sargent, Marissa Mann, and Brinna Houlahan posted a time of 2:18.80 to finish third.
Andrew Simmons, Marshall Stevens, Justin Lough, and Tristan Stinson would touch the wall at 2:04.05 to finish third for the men.
800 Free Relay:
Ashley Mayes, Jasmine Gibson, Grace Arredondo, and Jersey Razzano finished second in the event with a time of 9:21.37.
The men would finish second with a time of 8:22.88 as Igor Proszynski, David Clark, Shaine Olmstead, and Lucas Pels competed for the Hawks.
100 Free:
Jasmine Gibson finished first in the event with a time of 1:04.91. Brinna Houlahan finished fourth touching the wall at 1:07.80.
James Cameron improved on his pool personal best time with a third place finish and touching the wall at 56.10. Andrew Simmons finished fourth with a time of 59.52, while teammate Marshall Stevens finished with a time of 59.55.
50 Fly:
Jersey Razzano led the Hawks with a fifth place finish after touching the wall at 32.12.
Lucas Pels touched the wall at 27.72 to finish fourth.
50 Back:
Ashley Mayes finished third overall with a time of 31.91. Grace Arredondo finished fifth after touching at 34.63.
James Cameron posted a third place time of 31.39 with teammate Kyle Sheridan touching at 35.43 to finish fourth.
50 Breast:
Zorey Sargent finished second overall with a time of 36.57, while the Barton swimmer touched at 36.41. Jeleah Delancy finished fourth with a time of 38.72.
Marshall Stevens and Justin Lough finished fourth and fifth respectively with time of 32.45 and 34.51.
50 Free:
Ashley Mayes touched the wall first in the event with a time of 28.43. Jersey Razzano finished fourth with a time of 29.77.
James Cameron was out-touched by .01 for third place finishing with a time of 25.44. Lucas Pels finished fifth with a time of 25.90.
300 Medley Relay:
Chowan would finish third in the event with a time of 4:10.88. Erin Garza, Vivian Lyle and Brinna Houlahan swam for the Hawks.
Lucas Pels, David Clark, and Igor Proszynski finished second with a time of 3:22.74.
Kyle Sheridan, Tristan Stinson, and Andrew Simmons posted a time of 4:15.56 to finish third.
200 Free Relay:
Chowan finished second and third in the event with times of 1:54.58 and 2:04.82 respectively. Zorey Sargent, Grace Arredondo, Ashley Mayes and Jersey Razzano led the Hawks in second.
Justin Lough, David Clark, Marshall Stevens, and James Cameron led the Hawks in second on the men's side with a time of 1:41.89.
500 Free Relay:
Jeleah Delancy, Atar Idrissi, Erin Garza, and Marissa Mann finished second in the event with a time of 6:10.20.
