MURFREESBORO, N.C. - The Chowan Swimming will look to continue their strong performances in 2021 as the Hawks host Barton at the Bynum Brown Aquatic Center on Saturday.

NO SPECTATORS ARE PERMITTED INSIDE BYNUM BROWN AQUATIC CENTER.

  • Last Event: The women tussled with #22 UNC Pembroke at home and broke three pool records.
  • Ashley Mayes and Jersey Razzano will look to continue their fast times.
  • The men should be well rested after not competing last weekend against UNCP.

  • Last Event: Barton lost to perennial powerhouse Wingate in a dual meet last weekend.
  • Both teams were selected to win the Conference Carolinas this season.
  • All-American, Bartlomiej Swiderski, and All-Conference Selection, Jonathan York, return for the Bulldogs.
  • All-Conference Selections, Kleanza Cathers and Moira Euker, return for the women.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE CAROLINAS

Conference Carolinas has a rich tradition in roots that dates back to its inception on Dec. 6, 1930. The NCAA Division II athletics conference presently has member schools located in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. Member institutions for the upcoming 2020-21 athletic year are Barton, Belmont Abbey, Chowan, Converse, Emmanuel, Erskine, King, Lees-McRae, Mount Olive, North Greenville and Southern Wesleyan.

Conference Carolinas will feature 11 members in the 2020-21 academic year before expanding to 13 teams for the 2021-22 academic year with the addition of Francis Marion and UNC Pembroke.
