HAWKS HIGHLIGHTS
Chowan dropped to 6-20 on the season and 3-12 in league play after seeing their upset bid against UNC Pembroke come to an end during the week.
Anixa Rosa-Martinez leads the Hawks with 276 kills while Madison Hall has 178 kills and Anamarie Colon-Calero has posted 107 kills.
Natalia Vega-Aponte has 596 digs on the season with Hadley Prince totaling 245 digs. Anamarie Colon-Calero has 40.0 total blocks on the year, while Chloe Putnam and Nyah Powers have posted 30.0 and 27.0 total blocks respectively.
TRAPPING THE WARRIORS
Southern Wesleyan enters the weekend with a 1-18 overall record and 0-15 in league play this season. The Warriors are on a 16 match skid and haven't won a set since October 5 in a 3-1 loss to Erskine.
DENYING THE VALKYRIES
Converse enters the weekend with a 4-20 overall record and a 4-11 record in league play. The Valkyries are 1-9 over their last 10 matches.
