HAWKS HIGHLIGHTS
Chowan picked up two strong wins last week with the upset of divisional leader Francis Marion (3-1) and taking down rival Barton (3-2) to improve to 6-19 on the season and 3-11 in league play.
Anixa Rosa-Martinez leads the Hawks with 265 kills while Madison Hall has 171 kills and Anamarie Colon-Calero has posted 104 kills.
Natalia Vega-Aponte has 575 digs on the season with Hadley Prince totaling 234 digs. Anamarie Colon-Calero has 38.0 total blocks on the year, while Chloe Putnam and Nyah Powers have posted 27.0 total blocks each.
KNOWING THE BRAVES
UNC Pembroke enters with a 19-9 overall record and an 11-2 mark in league play. The Braves are second in the division.
Shannon Skyrd leads the team with 280 kills while Brianna Warren has 247 kills this season. Warren also paces the team with 109.0 total blocks.
