MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan Men's Lacrosse team put their two game win streak on the line as the Hawks travel to West Virginia to take on Alderson Broaddus and Davis & Elkins in non-conference action.

Chowan enters the contest with a 2-2 overall record and averaging 19 goals in their last two games.
Leading the charge is Conference Carolinas Player of the Week, Austin Lee, with 17 goals. Patrick Egan leads the team in points with 21 with six goals and a team-high 15 assists.
Jackson Downs and Jaxon Martin have nine and eight goals respectively.
Slater Bender is 2-1 in cage this season with an 8.64 GAA and 57.6% save percentage.
READY FOR BATTLE AGAINST THE BATTLERS
This is the first contest of the season for Alderson Broaddus. The Battlers finished 2019 with a 2-12 overall record. ABU picked up a win last season against the Hawks, 15-9, in Phillipi.
Braxton Roman returns as the leading scorer with 12 goals. The top three scorers for the Battlers departed the team. The Battlers also lost both goalkeepers that logged time in cage last season.
VETOING THE SENATORS
Davis & Elkins is 0-1 this season after starting the season against #7 Seton Hill. The Senators went 2-9 last season.
Tyler Kolodka leads the team with three goals and one assist. Matthew Dyck has found the back of the net twice. The Senators return leading scorer Trevor Kennedy who scored 19 goals last season.
