HAWKS HIGHLIGHTS
Chowan is coming off a straight sets loss to Virginia State during the week to fall to 1-3 on the season.
Sydney Hiner and Anixa Rosa-Martinez lead the Hawks offensively with 26 and 25 kills respectively. Ciara Ortega has produced 50 assists on the season, with Alexa Woolson recording 35 assists.
Katie Houston leads the team with 48 digs, Anixa Rosa-Martinez has 43 digs on the season. Ann-Marie Johnson has recorded 11 blocks on the year.
CAGING THE BOBCATS
Frostburg State enters the contest with a 4-1 overall record and comes off their first loss of the season. The Bobcats started off the year with two wins against Lincoln (Pa.), Bowie State, and USciences that hold a combined 3-12 overall record.
Biamba Tshitenge and Jacqueline Sterenberg lead the team with 35 and 30 kills respectively. Cori Smothers paces the defense with 60 digs.
IN THE SERIES
Chowan and Frostburg State have not met since the Division III days. Frostburg took both meetings in 2001 and 2002.
