MURFREESBORO, N.C.-The Chowan Women's Tennis team returns to the courts after a week break to face Conference Carolinas opponent Converse on Saturday, April 6.

HAWKS PROFILE
The women enter the contest with a 1-13 overall record and 1-6 in the league after falling to Emmanuel 5-2 on home court.

In doubles play, Cynthia Carrier and Arina Karbolina picked up the No.1 doubles position 6-3 over the Lions.

Carrier kept the momentum at the No.1 singles position with a 6-1, 3-6, 11-9 victory for the Blue and White.

ABOUT THE VALKYRIES
Converse currently post an 8-7 overall season record and 2-4 conference record after sweeping King 7-0 in late march.

The Hawks and Valkyries last met in spring 2018 when Chowan hosted Converse and grabbed the 9-0 match victory.
