Chowan Tennis Battles Erskine College in Conference Road Matchup

DUE WEST, S.C. - The Chowan University women's tennis team competed against Erskine College in a conference matchup on Friday afternoon.

Location: Due West, S.C. (Sloan-Cox Tennis Courts)

Teams/Records: Chowan Women: 4-9 (1-5)

In doubles, Feidi Abreu Rodriguez and Victoria Videla competed in the #1 spot, Aime Vera and Felicitas Grillo played at #2, and Diva Datta paired with Isabella Turner in the #3 spot. The Hawks dropped all three doubles matches as Erskine collected the doubles point.

In singles, Marcia Aragon battled in the #1 spot, as Feidi Abreu Rodriguez played at the #2. Felicitas Grillo was in the #3 spot,  Aime Vera (#4), Victoria Videla (#5), and Diva Datta (#6). The Hawks fell in straight sets, as the Fleet would pick up a 7-0 win.

Chowan continues its conference road swing with a trip to Converse University in Spartanburg, S.C. on Saturday, March 28, with first serve set for 11:30 AM.
