The Hawks will kick off the 2018 Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Championships on Friday, April 20 in the quarterfinals against the No. 8 seed Converse.
The semifinals and championship match of the Conference Carolinas will be Saturday and Sunday, April 21-22 respectively.
HAWKS HIGHLIGHTS
Chowan capped off their 2018 regular season with a 17-3 overall record and an unbeaten record in league play at 11-0 to claim the first-ever Conference Carolinas Regular season title. The Hawks are on a 13 match win streak.
Five-time Conference Carolinas Player of the Week, Polina Novachuk, leads the team with a 19-4 overall record. Polina and Cynthia Carrier posted a 17-3 mark in doubles competition and went 10-1 in league action.
The duo of Hannah Tarlouskaya and Victoria Smolchenkova finished off a unbeaten season in league play with an 11-0 record and 18-5 record overall.

Converse enters the Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Championships with an 8-12 overall record and 3-8 in league action.
Chowan swept the Valkyries on March 23, 9-0 in Murfreesboro.
