HOW IT HAPPENED
In Doubles:

• The Hawks picked up the No.1 doubles with a 8-4 win by Polina Novachuk and Cynthia Carrier.
• Palm Beach grabbed the No.2 and No.3 doubles 8-4 and 8-6 respectively. 

In Singles:

• Heading into singles play, Polina Novachuk secured her 6-3, 6-1 victory at the No.1 singles match, before Cynthia Carrier dropped 6-1, 6-3 to the Sailfish. 
• Victoria Smolchenkova came up short at the No.3 singles position 6-1, 7-5. 
• Recovering for the Hawks, Hanna Tarlouskaya took the No.4 singles match win 6-4, 2-6 in a 10-3 tiebreaker. 
• Lenka Styblova fell short at the No.5 singles 7-6(5) 6-3, before Angelique Gouin was unable to beat the No.6 singles opponent 6-1, 6-3.

UP NEXT
The Hawks are back in action on Friday, March 8 when they match up against Tiffin University. First serve is set for 8:00am.
