MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan Volleyball team travels to Lincoln (Pa.) to compete in the second CIAA Round-Up of the season on Saturday and Sunday, September 30-October 1. The Hawks will face Livingstone and Johnson C. Smith on Saturday followed by Fayetteville State on Sunday.

HAWKS PROFILE
Chowan enters the Round-Up with a 4-8 overall record and winners of the last four matches. The Hawks are 4-2 in CIAA play but perfect 3-0 in CIAA Northern Division action.
Brittany Tschida leads the Hawks with 71 kills.

Livingstone enters the Round-Up with a 2-5 record and 2-3 in CIAA play. The Blue Bears are led offensively by Ajia Long with 45 kills.
GOLDEN BULLS BIO
JCSU is tied for third in the CIAA Southern Division as the Golden Bulls sport a 6-2 overall record and 4-1 in league play. Gorana Bogdanovic, Karina Pressoir, and Anteesha Smoots have posted 50+ kills to lead JCSU.
BRONCOS FILES
Fayetteville State is 8-6 on the season and tied with Johnson C. Smith in the CIAA Southern Division for third. Arlicia Ortiz is the main focus for the Broncos with 121 kills, almost twice as many as the next player with 68.
SERIES HISTORY
Chowan leads the overall series against all three opponents with a combined 33-6 record. Fayetteville State is the only opponent to pick up a win against the Hawks as Chowan leads the series 12-6. The Broncos defeated the Hawks in the CIAA Volleyball Tournament last season.
