MURFREESBORO, N.C.- The Chowan Men's and Women's Soccer teams host Lees-McRae in Conference Carolinas action on Saturday in a doubleheader. The women kick things off at 12pm followed by the men at 2:30pm.

HAWKS PROFILE
The Hawks are coming off a 2-1 setback against Erskine last weekend. Chowan enters the contest with a 2-2-1 overall record and looking for their first Conference Carolinas win of the season as the Hawks sit at 0-1-1 in league play.
Chowan has not allowed a goal at home in the three contests at Hawks Soccer field this season. Chowan is led offensively by program record holder Terell Williamson with five points (2g, 1a). Lee Wattam and Denis Roule have found the back of the net twice for the Hawks.
Elliott Chadderton and the back-line for the Hawks have posted three shutouts this season, all coming at home. Chadderton and crew have allowed 1.34 goals per contest.
BOBCATS BUSINESS
Lees-McRae enters the contest at #12 in the nation and on the heels of their first loss of the season during a mid-week contest against Lincoln Memorial.
Senior midfielder, Tom Deeley, leads the Bobcats with 15 points (6g, 3a) in an explosive attack as the Bobcats score 2.57 goals per contest.
LAST MEETING
Chowan defeated the Bobcats in the season finale last season, 8-2. Terell Williamson netted a hat-trick in the victory.
Women's Soccer
HAWKS PROFILE
Chowan continues to be at the top of their game coming into the contest with an unbeaten record of 3-0-1 and perfect 2-0-0 in Conference Carolinas play. Chowan picked up a 2-1 overtime victory in their only match of the weekend against Erskine last Saturday.
Carolina Lucci leads the Hawks and the Conference Carolinas with 11 points (5g, 1a). Lucci was named Conference Carolinas Player of the Week for the past two weeks for her stellar play.
Olivia Borer and the Chowan defense saw their streak end last week as Erskine scored a goal in the second half to post the first goal allowed by the Hawks in 2017.
BOBCATS BUSINESS
Lees-McRae comes into the contest on a two-match losing streak falling to Mount Olive on the road and Lincoln Memorial at home in the past week.
Riley Neese leads the Bobcats with seven points (3g, 1a) as Lees-McRae is 1-4-1 on the season and 1-1-1 in league play. The Bobcats are tied for fourth in the conference standings with four points.
