MURFREESBORO, N.C. – Following the 2025 Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Championship, the league announced its 10-member All-Tournament Team, with Chowan's freshman Clay Verdin earning a spot among the honorees.

Verdin delivered several key moments throughout postseason play. In the quarterfinal matchup against Emmanuel College, he recorded three shots and provided the crucial assist that set up Purewal's game-winning goal. He continued his impact in the semifinal match in Browns Summit, N.C., against Young Harris, assisting on the Hawks' opening goal before finding the back of the net himself to fuel the team's offensive push.
