Box Score MOUNT OLIVE, NC - The Chowan University men's lacrosse team suffered a 22-6 Conference Carolinas loss to the University of Mount Olive on Wednesday afternoon. The Hawks fell to 1-8 overall and 1-2 in league play while the Trojans improved to 7-2 overall and 2-1 in the conference. 

The Trojans out shot the Hawks 55 to 31 in the match. Chowan picked up 22 ground balls to the Trojans 46. The Hawks also went 24 of 29 in clear attempts. 

Chowan got two scores from Anthony Alfonso, Jr. and Nick Lavoy. Ivor Corlette and Jacob Mitchell each had a goal in the loss. 

Markis Harrison had 16 stops in sixty minutes of play for Chowan in goal. 

The Hawks will continue on their road stand with a trip to Tigerville, South Carolina on Saturday, April 1st to play North Greenville University. Match time is set for 1:00pm.
