MURFREESBORO, NC-The Chowan University women's tennis team dropped to Tiffin University 8-1 on Saturday afternoon, and slipped to 3-3 on the season after the loss. Tiffin improves to 15-2 overall.

The Dragons took all three of the doubles matches on the afternoon to lead the Hawks 3-0 heading into singles play.

Winning the lone singles match for Chowan, Angelique Gouin took down Bianca Avram at the number four position in a third set super tiebreaker for a final score of  6-3, 5-7 (10-2).

The Hawks look to regroup as they travel to Hilton Head, South Carolina to compete in the Spring Tennisfest on March 4^th through March 10^th.
