MURFREESBORO, N.C. – Coming off a second place finish to start the season, the Chowan Swim team travels to Washington, D.C. to face Division I programs Howard and George Washington on Saturday, October 14.

HAWKS HIGHLIGHTS

Chowan grabbed 22 top-five finishes in their opening meet at the Converse Women's Invitational.

Julia Chmielewska picked up three first place finishes during the opening meet.

Kjahna O, Julia Chmielewska, Grace Arredondo, and SheAyre Bowles picked up a first place finish in the 200 and 400 yd Free Relays.

The Hawks' 200 yd Medley Relay squad of Julia Chmielewska, AnnMarie Spiker, Jasmine Gibson, and Grace Arredondo finished second in the opening relay.

Action against Howard and George Washington begins at 1pm in Washington, D.C.
