MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan Volleyball team heads on the road to face Mount Olive in a non-conference match tonight, Tuesday, October 10.

HAWKS HIGHLIGHTS
The Hawks enter the match with a 7-9 overall record coming off a five set battle against Virginia State last week.
Brittany Tschida eclipsed the 100 kill mark in the win as the senior sits with 102 kills to lead the team.  Makayla Castro and Courtney O'Keefe have notched 88 kills each while freshman Kayla Gates is nipping at their heels with 85 kills.
Karia Patterson achieved 1000 career assists in her short career with the Blue and White as the senior has dished out 440 assists this season.  Patterson also leads the team with 39 service aces.
Bailey Zavala paces the Hawks with 240 digs while Alyssa Born has 126 digs.

ABOUT THE TROJANS
Mount Olive is 8-10 on the season as a member of the Conference Carolinas.  The Trojans are coming off a loss to King (Tenn.) in straight sets.
UMO is led by senior Britni Johnson with 219 kills as she has been set nearly 300 times more than the next Trojan.  Cyerra Carter and Kaitlin Grote have more than 100 kills on the season.
