MURFREESBORO, NC - The Chowan University women's tennis team picked up two CIAA wins on Wednesday afternoon at the Rose Family Tennis Complex against Elizabeth City State University.  Every Hawk in the line-up picked up a victory in either singles or doubles competition throughout the course of the afternoon without dropping a game.

Chowan won the first match 9-0, before grabbing a 7-0 win in the second match of the doubleheader. 

With the victories, Chowan extends their win streak to six straight matches, and improves to 16-3 this season.  They Hawks are also undefeated in league play with an 8-0 record.

Chowan returns to action on April 6th when they travel to Rocky Mount, NC to take on the Battling Bishops of North Carolina Wesleyan College.  Match time is scheduled for 5:00pm.
