SENIOR DAY PHOTO GALLERY The Chowan University men's soccer team played to a 1-1 double overtime draw with Davis and Elkins College on Saturday afternoon. The Hawks moved to 7-5-2 on the year after the tie. Davis and Elkins, a member of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference, moved to 9-3-3 on the year after afternoon play.

Josh Baker got the Hawks on the board early in the match when just four minutes into regulation
Paul Migliarina found him open at the top of the box. Baker blasted a shot far post from the top of the box to find the back of the net and give his team a 1-0 lead.
The Hawks and the Senators played evenly tough through the remainder of the first half. The teams battled defensively back and forth for much of the second half when in the final minute of regulation, the Senators took advantage of a Hawks' miscue. Alex Zamarzich scored from about 10 yards out to knot the match at 1-1.
Neither team could muster a score in either overtime period which forced the draw, the second of the season for the Hawks.
The Senators out shot the Hawks 34-16 in the match. Baker and
Lee Wattam each tallied a team-high four shots on the day.
Carlos Ramirez tallied seven saves in goal for the Hawks and allowed one goal.
Chowan will travel to Shippensburg University on Tuesday, October 25th in their next outing.
