Box Score CARY, NC- The Chowan University team earned a 4-0 victory over William Peace University on Sunday afternoon.  The Hawks improve to 9-5 on the season with the win while the Pacers fall to 3-10 on the year with the setback.

Chowan outshot William Peace 17-5 in the win.  Marco Lujan and Carlos Ramirez combined for three saves en route to the shutout victory. 

Ben Chapman put the Hawks on the board in the 20^th minute of play with an unassisted goal.  Eight minutes later, Barkan Koeprueluegil extended the Hawks' advantage to 2-0 when he used Chapman and Franciso Ferrus' assist to find the back of the net. 

With a 2-0 lead, Terell Williamson scored twice for Chowan to secure the win. His first goal was in the 43^rd minute of play from Koeprueluegil's assist and the second came in the 54^th minute of the contest.  Ferrus and Juan Lopez were credited with the assist on the score. 

The Hawks travel Barton College on October 22nd in their next outing.
