Box Score BOWIE, MD – CIAA Player of the Week Tori Lewis continued her stellar play with 11 kills against Bowie State University on Friday, as the Hawks swept the Lady Bulldogs 3-0.  Chowan won by scores of 25-6, 25-14, 25-17 to improve to 21-5 on the season, and a perfect 14-0 in CIAA play.
 
Lewis hit a team-high .500 as she tallied those 11 kills.  Karina Monroe and Monica Ruffin each nailed seven kills for the Hawks. As a team, the Hawks totaled 34 kills, and held the Lady Bulldogs (8-19, 2-12 CIAA) to just 16.
 
Chowan hit .351 for the match, committing only seven attack errors.  Bowie, by comparison, tallied 18 attack errors at hit -.020.
 
Lewis also had a team-high ten digs, while Tara Thomalla tallied eight.  Thomalla also recorded four service aces.
 
Chowan will travel to Millersville University tomorrow, October 22^nd for a 3:30pm matchup.
