Box Score MURFREESBORO - The Chowan University volleyball program picked up their 15th season win after downing the University of the District of Columbia in straight sets. The Hawks picked up double digits kills from both Tori Lewis and Karina Monroe to roll to the straight sets victory. Newcomer Nikira Fults had eight blocks in the win.

Chowan won with final set scores of 25-16, 25-12, and 25-22. Lewis collected a match high 12 kills while Monroe added 11 of her own. Fults had two solo blocks to go with six assisted blocks and Callie Armistead tallied 25 assists.

The Hawks ran their win streak to 11 matches in a row after today's sweep of Lincoln and UDC. The Hawks will host Bowie State University tomorrow at 2:00pm in their next outing.
