Box Score FAYETTEVILLE, NC - Chowan University's volleyball team remains undefeated in the CIAA after picking up their third win at the CIAA Round Up in Fayetteville this afternoon. Chowan downed Winston-Salem State 3-1 to improve to 7-4 overall and 7-0 in CIAA play.  Three Chowan players had double digit kills to help propel them to the four set victory.

Chowan downed the Lady Rams 25-14, 25-16, 25-27, and 25-20. Victoria Lewis  collected 15 kills to lead the Hawks while Karina Monroe came in with 12 kills. Antoinette McCollough tallied 10 kills in the win. Monroe also had three blocks.

Charla Hughes set up 25 assists and Callie Armistead had 15 assists. 

Chowan moves to 7-4 on the year and 7-0 in the league and comes in just behind Elizabeth City State University in the North Division. ECSU is 9-2 overall and 8-0 in league play. The two teams will face off on Tuesday, September 21st at 2:30pm on the campus of ECSU.
