Box Score MURFREESBORO - Greensboro College's Richard Haskett scored an unassisted goal in the 118th minute against Chowan to help propel his team to a 4-3 double overtime win over the homestanding Hawks this afternoon. Chowan produced season-high numbers today with 25 total shots and ended a five game scoreless drought but it wasn't enough to help seal a victory this afternoon. Chowan falls to 0-6 on the season while the Pride improves to 2-4-1 overall.

Caleb Blaize ended Chowan's five game scoreless drought after scoring on a crossed ball by
Adam Smith in the 11th minute of play. Just over two minutes later the Pride tied the game for the first of three times.
Wilfred Amoako scored off a corner kick sent into the box by
Biez Neto in the 31st minute to give Chowan back a lead a 2-1. But Greensboro's offense wouldn't back off as they tied the game at 2-2 just before halftime.
Kenny Moore busted the tie with a goal on a cross from
Brandon Chambers in the 58th minute to give the Hawks a 3-2 lead. That lead wouldn't hold long as the Pride scored 14 minutes later, a goal that would eventual force the overtime periods.
Haskett's game winner came in the 118th minute of play to give his team the narrow 4-3 double overtime win.
Scott Cullen had nine saves in goal for Chowan this afternoon. The Hawks out shot the Pride 25 to 22 and had nine shots on goal.
Chowan will host Catawba College tomorrow afternoon at 2:00pm in their next match up.
