BUENA VISTA, VA - For the second match in a row the Chowan University women's soccer program played to a 0-0 tie. Despite playing 120 minutes of soccer neither Southern Virginia nor Chowan could find the back of the net. Chowan's keeper,
Kristy Brown, faced 34 shots in the match from the Knights, and collected 13 stops while the Hawks offense managed just four shots overall.
Today's tie marks the second tie in a row for the Hawks after playing to a 0-0 tie at Coker College last week.
The Hawks move to 1-3-2 on the year after today's double overtime match. They will continue travel through the weekend with a Sunday afternoon match at Washington Adventist.
