Box Score MURFREESBORO - The Chowan University men's soccer team ended their home season today with a 2-1 loss to Shepherd University. The Rams spoiled the Hawks Senior Day after scoring two second half goals for the win. The program recognized seniors Jonathan Bushnell, Scott Cullen, Ross Danzeisen, Abasse Miette, Chris Riveros, and Alfred Wilson prior to the start of the match. 

Kenny Moore scored at the 33:31 mark of the first period after scoring on a breakaway goal. Moore's goal was good enough to give the Hawks a 1-0 halftime lead. But the rams answered in the second half after scoring unanswered goals in the 52nd and 69th minutes to take the 2-1 win. 

Scott Cullen played solid in goal for Chowan, getting 10 stops. He faced a penalty kick in the first period with the game knotted at 0-0 and came up with diving save. 

The Hawks wrapped up their regular season today. They will await news on the NCCAA South Region Tournament.
