LINCOLN, PA - The Chowan University volleyball squad improved to 15-11 overall and 13-2 in the CIAA after beating Lincoln University (Pa.) in straight sets this evening. Chowan got 11 kills out of Victoria Lewis in the win. The Hawks improve their divisional record to 7-2 and remain in 2nd place with three divisional matches left on the schedule.
Chowan won with final set scores of 25-17, 25-14, and 25-8. Callie Armistead set up 29 assists and Megan Sawyer had five service aces.
Chowan will stay on the road with a trip down to Bowie State University tomorrow. They will wrap up CIAA play next week with road trips to Virginia State and Virginia Union on Tuesday and Thursday.
